ToolFlexy MediaFix helps WordPress website owners optimize images, create WebP and AVIF files, improve image ALT text, find exact duplicate files, review possibly unused media, and control generated thumbnail sizes from one easy dashboard.
Every feature is free. There is no premium version, license key, external image-processing account, usage limit, or tracking system. Image processing is performed locally by the image library available on your WordPress hosting server.
The Quick Optimize panel lets you decide exactly which files enter a run. Choose JPG/JPEG, PNG, or both as source images. Then choose WebP, AVIF, or both as the modern output formats. MediaFix opens a review queue containing only the selected source types.
Images are processed one at a time to reduce server pressure. A visible progress bar shows the current percentage. Original backups should remain enabled until the optimized website has been fully reviewed.
The ALT Text Audit loads images in small batches so large Media Libraries do not freeze the page. Its loading indicator shows how many images have been prepared and how many remain.
Use Missing ALT / Ready to show images that currently have no ALT text and have a valid suggestion. The Apply Ready Suggestions button changes only those ready images. During processing, MediaFix displays applied, remaining, skipped, and error totals. A completion dialog confirms the final result.
Existing ALT text is preserved by default. Exclusion rules always take priority over inclusion rules. No plugin can guarantee complete accessibility compliance; MediaFix assists with image metadata and still requires human review.
The Media Cleaner is intentionally conservative. It checks parent posts, featured images, post content, common builder/custom-field references, product galleries, site icons, logos, and header images. It never permanently deletes candidates automatically.
A custom theme, shortcode, CSS file, or third-party plugin may reference an image in a way that cannot be detected. Review every candidate on a staging site and keep a complete backup. Selected candidates are moved to WordPress Trash so they can be restored.
WebP and AVIF availability depends on your hosting server's GD or Imagick image library. Open MediaFix > System Status to see the available formats. If AVIF is unavailable, contact your hosting provider or use WebP.
